Q: I have used this 5 times, each and every time it takes 10+ minutes to get the 1lb propane cylinder to thread onto the valve. Why is this a continued issue?

Q: Hello, Is the bottom of this fire column removeable to run a 20 pound tank to it with an adapter instead of using the 1 lb. tank?

Q: I’ve used my fire column a handful of times. Now after I push in the knob to light, it doesn’t stay lit unless I hold the knob in 2 - 3 minutes. I’m afraid it will eventually not work at all. What can I do?

Q: Hello, do you need an adapter for the propane tank? Or do you simply unscrew the propane tank and attach directly to the unit?
A: Heidi, This uses a 1 lb propane tank (not included) which attaches inside the column directly to the connector. You will not need to purchase any additional adapters. Q: What size propane tank fits in this 22in fire column? Will a 5lb tank fit inside?
A: Beave, This Fire Column will fit the 1 lb. tank inside that it is designed for, and for which it received its' safety rating. Not only will a 5 llb tank not work with the gas connection provided inside the column, it would void your warranty, as we cannot guarantee its' quality or safety. with the incorrect sized tank. Q: Can you replace the lava rocks with the color glass rocks.
A: Glenn, Yes, you can add LavaGlass to your fire bowl. We recommend that you keep a small base layer of the lava rocks, to keep the LavaGlass from fusing together in the bottom, if used at high heat for an extended time. Q: How long does a 1lb propane tank last?
A: Hello, this Fire Column creates 15,000 BTUs of heat at the highest setting. With a 1 lb. propane tank, High setting should last 1.4 hours. At the low flame setting, it will last 2/3 hours.
