Description

With the NEW Single-to-Double Stroller 2.0, Mockingbird managed to add even more parent-friendly features onto their already award-winning stroller. Clearly informed and designed by real parents, these enhancements include an even more extendable canopy for sun protection, auto-adjusting seat straps to help parents buckle in their kids faster, a spring-loaded stroller lock for an easier unfold, and a redesigned frame that provides an even smoother and more comfortable ride.

The 2.0 version also comes with all the impressive features that have helped its original model gain such a cult following. As the Single-to-Double’s name implies, you can use this stroller both as a Single AND a Double by adding on Mockingbird’s 2nd Seat Kit as your family grows (you can even add on their Riding Board to support a third!). Also, unlike many other strollers, you can use the Single-to-Double from day one by using one of Mockingbird’s infant accessories.

This stroller really feels like “they thought of everything” – not only can it support all ages and multiple kids, but it also has an adjustable handlebar for caregivers of different heights, a seat that’s both reclinable and reversible to evolve with your child’s preferences, and a canopy that extends to different lengths to help block the sun no matter the angle. It has a giant basket to help carry everything you’ll need, an incredibly quick and easy one-hand fold, and thoughtful little details like a crumb release zipper at the base of the seat and reflective fabric for safer evening strolls.

With such impressive design, high quality materials, and a price that’s hundreds of dollars cheaper than most other premium strollers, it’s no surprise Mockingbird has rapidly become so famous in parenting circles and won countless awards like:

Q: Does it hold up to 50 pounds for both seats or per seat?

submitted by Nic - 9 months ago
  • A: Recommended child age/height: 6+ months up to 50 lbs (or 42”) for the stroller seat, or up to 45 lbs in each toddler seat if using them together.

submitted byDiamond - 9 months ago
  • A: Great question, Nic! When strolling with one kiddo, the weight limit is 50 lbs. When strolling with two kiddos, the weight limit is 45 lbs in each seat!

Q: Does the car seat adapter work with the Joie Rue Infant car seat ?

submitted by Natalie K - 3 days ago
  • A: Hi Natalie! Thanks for reaching out about this. Our Car Seat Adapter is not compatible with Joie car seats. The good news is, if you end up going with a car seat we’re not compatible with, we have two other accessories that would allow you to stroll smoothly and safely with your newborn: Bassinet or Infant Seat Insert

Q: Is this the newest mockingbird stroller with new upgrades?

submitted by Angela - 9 days ago
  • A: Hi Angela, yes! It is! This is the 2.0 version of our Single-to-Double Stroller with a Canopy that can extend a bit farther and eliminate the need for the additional Sunshade component. They also have an updated design to the seat’s Harness for even smoother adjustment. And then there is an updated Stroller Lock for the simplest fold, a black Brake Pedal (instead of White), and an updated Frame for even smoother strolling!

Q: Does the car seat adapter work with Nuna car seat ?

submitted by Ana - 19 days ago

Q: Is the Graco 4Ever DLX All-In-One convertible car seat compatible with this stroller?

submitted by des - 20 days ago
  • A: Hi des! Thanks for asking about this. Our Car Seat Adapters are not compatible with the Graco 4Ever DLX convertible car seat. Convertible car seats (and rotating/360 car seats, another type of convertible car seat) tend to be much bigger and bulkier and can be used for children past the first year. With this in mind, they cannot be attached to a stroller (any stroller, not just ours!), and generally aren’t designed to be moved between vehicles. On the other hand, infant car seats click in/out of a base that you keep in the car. These car seats are lighter and intended to be carried around when your child is smaller (so they’re great for attaching to strollers when you’re on the go!).

Q: Is the bassinet and toddler seat 2 seperate peices or does the bassinet convert into a toddler seat?

submitted by Emily - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi Emily! The Bassinet is our infant-compatible accessory, which is sold separately from the Single-to-Double Stroller. The Toddler Seat that comes with the Stroller does not convert into a Bassinet.

Q: Dose this stroller come with a car seat

submitted by Blanka - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Blanka! It doesn't come with a car seat-- Mockingbird Strollers are ready-to-go with everything you need for a child who has developed head and neck control — a Toddler Seat, Extendable Canopy, Storage Basket, and a Wet Bag. Additional accessories, including infant compatibility options for kiddos in earlier developmental stages, are sold à la carte. We wouldn't want our customers to pay for items they don't want and won't use! That said, we do have a Car Seat Adapter that makes the Stroller compatible with many popular infant car seats!

Q: Which car seat adapter should i purchase for the Joie Mint car seat??

submitted by Nena - 2 months ago
  • A: Hi Nena! Unfortunately, we’re not currently compatible with the Joie Mint car seat. It's possible that in the future we may make an Adapter that is compatible with that specific car seat, but we don't have a timeline for that at this point. If you end up going with a car seat we’re not compatible with, we have two other accessories that would allow you to stroll smoothly and safely with your newborn: the Bassinet or the Infant Seat Insert, both of which are found directly on our website!

We bought this when we had our second baby! We use it for our daily family/hot mom walks. It has been so useful and easily strolls around anywhere we have gone. The suspension is great and the stroller frame is fairly light. It packs a punch without a doubt! Might I mention for a fraction of the cost of some higher end brands that don’t fit all the configurations this one does.

    Great stroller for babies

There are a lot of things I like about this stroller, it rides really smooth and the bassinet is perfect for my newborn. My only issues are that the seat is a little too short to be comfy for my toddler, and you can’t have a toddler face forward with the bassinet, and the brake is already sticking and I’ve only been using it for about a month. Other than those things it’s great

This stroller is a game changer! My husband is 6’5, I am 6’1 and it is the only stroller we could find that was tall enough for us both. I love the changeable functionalities of it and the ease of it all. It is not heavy, easy to fold and transport. We also love the bassinet attachment and stand!

I absolutely love this stroller. The wheels are made to drive through all weather conditions. The frame is super sturdy. It’s a dream being able to wheel around both my 2 month old and 2 1/2 year old. This folds up soooo easy and the versatility is amazing. The only thing is that they need to make an attachment for the new Evenflo car seat but other than that this is truly well worth the buy.

I love that this stroller can work with the Nuna Pipa RX car seat! That was the main reason I got this stroller but it has also been very easy to collapse. I wish it was slightly lighter in weight but it’s not too bad. I also wish it came with the parent organizer; we actually have to exchange our parent organizer because the strap is too small to attach to the stroller.

I bought the Mockingbird for my daughter who just had her first baby. She now has had a chance to use it several times and loves it! She is so glad of her decision to go with Mockingbird. (And I love using it too, strolling my new granddaughter). Operating it has been much easier than I anticipated (much easier than the ones I had with my own children “a few years ago”)!

It is a bit bulky, but it has so much space for storage in the bottom! SO MUCH STORAGE. It is a bit pricey but I am of the mindset that investing a little bit more into a product to make life easier with a baby/kiddos. Another reason for this purchase is that it will grow with a family.

Overall we like this stoller a lot - but with any double stroller you are looking at a pretty bulky baby item. It’s ok, it’s smooth, baby sits up high which my baby loves! The only thing I wish they would add is a cup holder/place for keys for mom or dad. Thank you!

I wish we had found this stroller sooner! We just had our 4th child and got this for our baby and 3 year old. We also bought the riding board for our 5 and 6 year old! We just love this whole set. It’s easy to open and close and Mockingbird has made it extremely easy to switch from single to double and back to single again. There have been many times I just needed the single seat for baby’s car seat (mockingbird car seat adapter was also purchased) and it’s not a hassle to switch! This whole set is just so convenient for parents with multiples and I would highly recommend! We get stopped all the time in stores when we have the 2 seats and riding board attachments and I will always recommend to anyone who asks about it!

I never write reviews, but I have to admit I would never purchase this stroller again. We have the single and double seat and I’ve been very disappointed… - The awnings don’t go forward very far, sun is straight in they face - When traveling it doesn’t lay flat. If you want to travel as a double the second seat doesn’t lay flat - doesn’t even fit in hockey bag - Very hard to turn with two kids in it (one was newborn) - heavy and no turn traction with wheels
