Standard shipping for orders placed by 10pm CT is less than 10 business days. We also offer expedited and express shipping for an additional charge. Orders with monogramming, engraving, or hemming can take up to an additional 1-4 business days, and orders with embroidery can add 3-5 business days.

Where did the Christmas stocking tradition come from?

While there is no one agreed upon origin story, a popular version credits St. Nicholas filling impoverished children’s stockings that were drying by the fire with gifts. Another possible origin springs from the Scandinavian tradition of children leaving treats in their boots by the chimney for Odin’s flying horse, Sleipnir, to eat. In return, the children would get gifts or candy.

What is Lands’ End’s return policy for Christmas stockings and holders?

Eligible returns received within 90 days of purchase will be issued to the original form of payment when available. After 90 days, or a return without a Lands’ End proof of purchase, will instead be issued a Lands’ End Merchandise Credit.

Personalized gift items, such as items with a monogram or embroidery, may not be returned to Lands’ End and are expressly excluded by this Return Policy.
