It's a Lego product, what can I say? I buy these for my hubby because right now he can't build big projects for our house, so I buy him Lego projects for the apartment we're in. This was a lovely, bright spring Lego project and fitting for Easter. Something to step out of the usual Star Wars genre. The little birdy makes me smile… plus, I get the task of dusting the Lego shelves, so all of the critters he's assembled are my responsibility.  Why not get something bright and happy occasionally if I get to clean them up? Right? Anyway, it's got lots of little pieces, so maybe not for the younger LEGO engineer, keep that in mind.  But a great project, nonetheless.

These Legos are not only fun but just beautiful! They are detailed with lots of pieces. Such imagination went into this design!!! I am going to buy another one for a gift for a friend who loves birds like I do.

Great little display set. Lego animals are always fun to build, this one was pretty simple and didn't take long at all. 

I decided to add a few pieces to make it sit on the top of my computer monitor and added some more foliage and branches to make it look like a more natural perch for the nest, I'm very happy with this little display

Who knew legos could be so interactive after they were built! The birds will move their wings and turn around! It's just so cool! My daughter age 9 took about 30-45 mins to build this by herself.

Mama  Stays Home

I started with the 3-pack Easter Rabbit LEGO set just to see if my fingers could handle the blocks and to see if I could make it because I have neuropathy (numbness, prickling, clumsiness of my fingers and hands) and I was so pleased that I could do it. So, now I am going to start on the bird's nest and progress onto the wildflowers. I want to improve my dexterity %26 sensation in my hands and this is a perfect tool for me.
