While comfortable and good looking, the discomfort is too overwhelming to enjoy.

I have tried many shoes and boots and these Chacos are amazing,, right out of the box. I am a 10.5 extra wide so I ordered an 11 they slipped on pretty easily even with the bootie. I am loving them.

They run a little snug width wise, but have stretched out a bit with use. I typically wear a 9.5 in sneakers, and these fit true to size.
Additionally, I am impressed with how comfortable they are! I have fallen arches, and I worry about shoes cutting into my flat arch/side foot, but these have not done that whatsoever.
I have orthopedic issues (hip replacement in my 20s) and I feel like I have less hip/knee pain & general fatigue when wearing them for long periods of time. -

The quality is obvious and I'm confident they'll last me years. I'm writing this review so that anyone else who's wondering about the fit can benefit.
These are not a good fit for a lean person with feet that are narrower and not as thick over the arch and around the ankle. I've added an additional insole and it's just enough that I can wear them. I'm only disappointed that there's not much adjustment like there is in the sandals I've always worn. -
