Q: Is this specific formula safe to use in HE machines? I bought this Aug 2020 but it doesn't have the HE logo. Oops.

A: If your regular detergent should not be used in an HE machine, then you should not have "For HE full loads, fill to bar 5" in the details for this product.
submitted byMidwest Mike - 4 years agoA: Jamie, we have two types of detergents, regular and HE. Our HE Detergent will have the HE logo on it. Otherwise it is the regular detergent. HE detergent is low sudsing and can be used in HE and traditional washers. Our regular detergent should not be used in an HE machine. Q: HE detergents don't work at all cleaning clothes (neither do HE machines), so why not go back to making normal soap?

I just did a wash with a new bottle of Tide and found it had a new scent. The new scent is overpowering and smells like chemicals. The awful scent still clings to my clothes days later, even after running them through the dryer - I will have to buy a different brand of detergent and rewash those clothes. Note: the new scent is so strong that I cannot wear my clothes to choir practice where we are prohibited from wearing strong perfumes or colognes as they are offensive to some singers. I never had any issues with the old Tide scent. Please bring back the old scent. Until then I will use another brand.

I have used Tide Original for years. I love that I can get nearly all stains out using it. It is the only detergent I will use. Due to asthma and strong fragrances causing breathing problems for me I have been happy that Original Tide was a detergent that wasn't to strong and I could have a I scent without having breathing issues. I just opened a new jug of Tide Original and put a load of clothes in the wash. I can't walk into my laundry room now because the scent is overwhelming. No where on the new container does it say anything about a scent change. I am very unhappy that I now have TWO 170 ounce jugs of detergent I will not be able to use with no warning of the change and a room I can not walk in to for several hours as I wait for the scent to dissipate with a window open in the middle of winter.

I just tossed out an entire bottle of tide - 100 load bottle. The smell is so sickening it nauseated me. I tried doing a 2nd load with 1/2 as much detergent - but, that was disgusting too. If someone has a poor sense of smell, it could be tolerable, but, even my husband (poor sense of smell) commented it was very "pungent". Strongly recommend to smell before purchasing - or just don't purchase. I will never purchase a Tide product again - don't need these expensive and wasteful surprises.

Liquid Tide, just as classic as the powder for its great cleaning power and ability to help keep clothes looking and feeling new, will always be the OG best laundry detergent (and all flankers). The scent is also not intrusive unless you choose to add extra scent. I still find the value worth it given the great results my families clothes continue to see time and time again! Highly recommend, and I have repurchased many times and will continue to do so!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love Tide. The last scent change sometime in 2017 where it smelt like musk cologne, And now it smells like cheap dollar store cleaner. This detergent is failing in so many areas. I will never try this again.

I have used Tide my entire life. For the last 10 or so years I have been using HE clean breeze. Recently the detergent has made me break out in a severe rash and itch all over. I no longer can use your product.

I’ve been using tide when very young, my Motherwas doing the laundry with the product, I have sensitive skin , and a less quality detergent would break out my skin in hives. I know with confidence that tide in all of its different scents or the sensitive skin one will protect my skin from that most uncomfortable feeling for sure. Thank you for letting me do a review of this product.

I think that for the price and the amount you have to use (which is very little) it gets my clothes smelling fresh for a long period of time. No weird residue and most stains are removed in just one wash.

Tide claims to clean stains "even in cold water." Anyone that knows how to do laundry properly, knows that hot water sets stains. Maybe you should give your consumers a bit more credit before you don't have any consumers, especially for what you charge for your product.
