Convenient container. The food does taste decent, not like momma's cooking, but not like cardboard either. Make sure you have water and heat to cook this, and make sure you take out the little oxygen abosorber packet ( I forgot to take it out while making one of the meals and wasn't sure if I could still eat it). Otherwise I was satisfied with the 72-hour meals. The banana chips are really good btw.

am using this in my go bag . so it is just the right size for that job . I did not open it , so I have no idea what the items taste like . but figure if I have to use it . Taste will be the least of my worries .

I had this on my shelf for over 10 yrs and thank God I didn't need it, but I want to be better prepared so I opened it to try the food. I had no idea I would need 5-10cups of water per package and that you not only need to boil the water but each meal has to simmer for 2-20mins. if there was a serious emergency I would also need a way to store and preserve all this cooked food that is 5days worth cooked all at once because there is no way to portion out the dry ingredients for one meal. The food is very delicious and easy to make on a normal day. The tote it comes in has nothing to do with the shelf life, each meal is sealed with oxygen removing packets. I am now rethinking how I want prepare.

I have ordered this before but this time my order shows best by date 02/2022. I attempted to contact Walmart about the expiration date but they just refunded my order.  I'll definitely order from Walmart for this product again. This must have been a mishap or error in printing, it shows shelf life of 25 years!

This is a good price for emergency food, but I expected the taste of the food would have been much better coming from Sam's club. It didn't taste that good, but is eatable. Would not be buying anymore.

I ordered six for our family "go bags". They appealed to me because they were lightweight, easy to carry with a bucket %26 handle and they last 25 years.  HOWEVER, I received mine and every single one of them has a best buy date of only 9 years. Two thirds of my "shelf life" was gone before they arrived. There is no way to verify best buy dates prior to buying. I'm not sure if this is a Walmart or an Augason Farms issue.

Ok price but did not realized it would all be in 4 huge packs. So you must make 10 servings at a time. How is one supposed to keep leftovers cold During a zombie apocalypse?? Unless you need to feed 8-10 people all at once, this is useless.
