The only time I’ve ever seen time given out in CT is on woot. The only time zone that matters is ET. Why not give out the time in ET and let all the people who made the mistake of living in the CT zone to do the calculation. Like normal. That’s their punishment.

Our bank runner says there shouldn’t be timezones period. So if it’s noon, it’s noon. That way there’s no figuring involved whatsoever. So if you work for an international company and you’re in TX and need to call an associate in Timbuktu, you don’t get the whole email chain of “I’ll call you at noon.” “Ok. Wait. Noon here?” “No, noon here.” “Oh-kay. So what time does that mean for here?” “Uhhhhhh… Well, right now it’s 6pm, what time is it there?” “7am.” “Ok, let me start counting, wait, I’ve run out of fingers…”

In a way, that makes sense. But in a way, it’ll be lleh with tv and TTHH and other important things like that.
