- A: AnswerA 12 oz can is about 4.75" tall by 2.5" diameter and I actually have 2 of the 12 packs of 12 oz soda cans here so I simply put them in each location and counted how many fit. So, this is how many 12 oz cans this fridge can hold. The cans are standing upright, not laying down (except in the door's can holder). The fridge door itself can hold 10 cans, 5 in the can holder and 5 on the door's top shelf. I didn't put any on the tall door shelf next to the can holder. The bottom shelf can hold 11 cans (5 in back with 6 in front of those). Yes, the door still closes. The middle shelf holds 21 cans and the top shelf will hold 19 cans if put against the fridge temperature control. I did not put any 12 oz cans in the "freezer" section of this fridge. So, 10+11+21+19 = 61 of the 12 oz cans. 61 is the maximum number of 12 oz cans that will fit in this fridge.

- A: AnswerI have 2 ice trays in mine and they both have ice in them. When I plugged it in for the first time, I set it to the coldest temperature. I put the ice trays into the freezer section with water and within a reasonable time, there was ice. I was actually surprised at how quick I had ice. I have since raised the temperature a notch (warmer setting) and I still have 2 trays of ice in the freezer section. It would seem that if somebody's does not make ice, it is not functioning correctly. Also, remember that if you laid it down for transportation, let it stand upright for at least a few hours before plugging it in so that the refrigerant settles back into where it should be before being run. Not doing this could cause the fridge to not function properly. I put mine in place and then went home without plugging it in. The next morning I plugged it in and it has worked perfectly since. Makes ice, keeps my drinks cold and everything. This is just my experience and my 2 cents.

Decent Unit, nice Size but Dented
I chose this refrigerator solely for its size. I keep a fridge under my desk at work. The compact refrigerators are too small. I had one with a freezer, which froze up constantly and took up valuable space. The 3+ CF refrigerators are too tall for the space, so this is a happy medium and I’m actually glad there is no freezer. I switched the door direction and that took about 20 minutes to swap out the hardware. After plugging it, it started to get cool pretty quickly. Shelves are okay for the price. A little cheap, but about what I expected for the price. The lower shelf is a small piece of glass because the cabinet makes up the back half of the shelf. Ever time the door is opened, it rattles and sounds like it will fall out. I’m going to use some sort of putty to wedge into the gap below the shelf to hopefully get rid of the rattle. Other than that, I was disappointed at how many dings are on this. I expected maybe a small dent on the box of the unit, but the door has a noticeable dent. There are dents on both the back two corners as well. It’s nothing that affects operation, just tough to accept when you’re buying a brand new unit (and non-open-box special). I’m not really sure how to let Best Buy know about the damage, so I can’t say if they’ll compensate for the damage or offer a replacement. Though I really don’t want to exchange it after tinkering with the door already. Overall, decent unit for a small price tag.

Very good product but it has surface damage
I bought this refrigerator for my son's camp. It is a great price and a very good product. It has a good size for this type of refrigerator. It arrived in new condition and is working fine. However, it has some damage on the surface. It’s not clear whether this damage occurred during manufacturing or delivery. I don't want to spend time exchanging it now since it is functioning well.

My best co-driver so far!
Very nice fridge which will be perfect for your RV or a semi truck. Fits ideally under Kenworth T680 table and much roomier than the stock fridge so I can have enough groceries that will last for about a week. It doesn't have a freezer compartment but I don't complain since I don't need it. I like the fact that it's energy efficient and in my case another fridge with a freezer compartment would definitely consume more energy and drain my truck's batteries much faster. Right now my fridge blocks an access to the shelves behind it where I keep my kitchen stuff that's why I want to mount 4 tiny wheels to the bottom so I can roll it in and out with ease.
