A: NO!!! dry clean only this blanket. otherwise it loses the fur like quality and becomes more like sheeps fleece. if I could take a picture of what happened to mine I would.

After the first wash, some areas became matted and coarse. This is the first time I buy a faux fur throw blanket from Target and this happens. Pictures are the same blanket, but different textures after wash!

I've never felt a blanket so soft, ever! After I opened it, I couldn't stop touching it. My kids literally fight over it because it's so soft! I bought it because I needed to spend $5 to get free shipping on my order. The blanket was on sale for $12, and I had $10 in target cash. I'd have spent $80 on this blanket. I'm actually returning my new faux fur UGG blanket and buying more of these because I'm so in love with it. I haven't had any shedding or ripped seams. It sounds like the cream blanket gives issues. My blanket is gray.

It’s very plush and the perfect size. Upon washing it for the first time, following directions to a tee, it lost its plushness and became matted, coarse, really off putting. I bought 5 of them at the same time to throw over our sectional and I’ve returned 3 of them. I want to return the other 2 because I know what will happen. They’re nice until you wash them, then the nightmare begins. And in reality, you should be washing them before you use them. Don’t buy.

We love how soft this blanket is! Just dont throw in the dryer too long. I noticed it kind of frizzes the ends. I pop it in the dryer for a few minutes to get some of the moisture out and then I hang dry it.

Soft on the fur side, but the blanket slides on itself and doesn’t maintain its shape. I wish it were stitched together in the middle so there would be 2 distinct sides. I’m not near it to upload a picture of what I mean, but will hopefully be able to add a photo later
