Is it hard to put on if you have a hard time doing the hook and eye closure behind your back?

I tried this same bra on today. I too felt like I was choking as I was trying to put it on....even with the straps extended. I REALLY want to love it. I will try again, however if it is too much of a struggle to get on, it will go back. I don't want a bra that I need someone to hook for me.
