Q: Why would you want the bowl-lift feature vs a tilt head?
A: Hi Cassie, The bowl-lift models offer a higher wattage for mixing larger quantities.
submitted byKitchenAidTeam - 1 year agoBrand expertA: Bread/pizza dough. Lift stand models have no "flex" in the hinge when kneading with the dough hook. Minor trade-off is having to remove the beater/hook before removing the bowl, vs tipping it up.
submitted byTL - 3 months agoA: You can use this in more versatile places, such as under an overhang or cabinet without having to move it to lift the bowl.

A: Yes it works very well! It will be the best mixer you have ever owned. Trust me, you won't regret snagging one of these!
