I use the anchor measuring glass cup every day. I like that it is glass and I can put in the microwave. I specially like that it has the measurements in both sides, the other ones I have only have it in one side and I have to keep looking for the markings. The size is perfect and it can be washed in the dishwasher.

Very durable and practical

I love this measuring cup. It is very sturdy and easy to handle. The numbers and lines are very clear and large enough to read easily. The spout is perfect. I have not had any spillage over the sides of it. I use this every day. Example: to measure and microwave milk for hot cereal.

Perfect sturdy glass measuring cup

Great heavy durable measuring cup! If you are like me and bake a lot, chances are you'll always be reaching or grabbing your measuring cup again and agin. You need a sturdy cup that the measuring marks don't fade in the dishwasher and this is that cup! I've washed time and time again and it still looks brand new!

Great durable measuring cup

The measuring cup is seriously good quality. The glass itself is I'm guessing around a 1/4 inch thick and heavy. There are plenty of measurement labels. Parts of a cup, ounces, ml, and even 1/2 quart.

When microwaved with liquid inside, I was surprised to find that the handle stayed relatively cool to the touch even when the water was super hot.

Heavy, useful, microwave safe

I love this big anchor measuring cup! I have a 1-1/2 cup and a 2 cup so this 4 cup is awesome! It has so many more uses with its big size! Always love that they are glass and dishwasher safe. Nice huge handle. It also makes a great little double boiler setup by using the handle to hang over the edge of the pot. Great for melting chocolate and making homemade face creams etc. its big size gives it so many more uses like gravy or even mixing small batches of batter etc right in it, and with its easy pour spout its great for pouring or emptying into muffin tins etc!

Great large measuring cup

This is the second one of these I bought. The first one shattered when I dropped it, where the Pyrex brand would not have. But at less than half the price of the Pyrex brand, so what? It's not a big difference, and this brand has a slightly bigger spout, which is good. Otherwise, the same. A bargain, compared to the other brand.

Not as sturdy, otherwise a bargain.

The glass is very thick and seems like it is well-made. The only downside is the pour spout doesn't seem to be shaped completely; maybe just an error when manufacturing? I filled it up to 4 cups and it runs down the side when pouring - that's the only downside.

I'm sure the measuring cup would have been great had it not been dropped onto the concrete when it was delivered in a giant bag with several heavy items. When I picked up my bag the broken glass cut through the bag, cut through my pants and cut my leg. I contacted Walmart customer service and they assured me they would get back to me within 48 hours, well I think it's been 2 weeks now with no word.

Broken

This broke my dishwasher. I put it in there to wash it before using it for the first time. It shattered into a million different sized pieces. For 3 hours I cleaned glass out if the motor the best I could, but now my dishwasher leaks! On top of that it has been days since I contacted Walmart making a claim and still no one has called me about the issue.

I bought this about 6 weeks ago.  I used it last night and left it on the counter.  Today, I ran some errands and came home to find it had exploded.  There was glass everywhere.  I live alone, so absolutely nothing could have happened to it while I was gone.  I've had these cups previously for years with no issue.  Has something changed in their manufacturing?
