Q: How well does this electric razor work for the mustache area, under the nose? it doesn't look like it could reach areas under the nose very well.
submitted by Moonwoof - 2 years ago
A: Hi! Yes. The pop-up trimmer can be used to trim your sideburns and mustache. The trimmer under your nose is very useful.

Rase très bien. Je l'utilise à tous les jours et je l'apprécie.
Good product. Not for sensitive skin.

Good quality shaver. Charges quick and holds a charge for a long time. Cleaning dock works well too. The reason for the 3 stars is due to looking into this razor for sensitive skin and it still produces quite a bit of irritation regardless of how I use the razor. (Wet or dry). I have in the last couple of days gone back to a safety razor, a double sided razor for anyone who doesn’t know what they are.
Disappointed

Very easy close shave. It's best not to let the hairs get too long as the shave obviously takes longer then. Sometimes have to work the blades more if there is a stubborn hair or two. But on the whole much more convenient than a wet shave. The travel case is really useful, strong and compact
Great shaver

Brilliant shaver. Thought it was gimmicky at first. However using the Blue/Green/Amber lights whilst shaving in a mirror gives a perfect result. I did not realise that with my old model i was pressing too hard. Using the app every now and again helps with your consistency of shave.
It’s ok!

Been a single blade wet shaver for years but have had to go to electric for a while due to anti coagulant medication. IMHO you're never going to get as close as a three pass wet shave with an electric for the simple reason the blades aren't in contact with the skin. Having said that, this is very close and gives no dry flaky skin like foil types I've tried on occasion. I use it with some kind of product on my face, I've tried creams, proper shaving soap lathered in a bowl with a brush and even a 50/50 mix of organic almond oil and castor oil. In my experience it works much better wet than dry, an occasional dip in water gives it a glide boost, (I should register that as a trademark lol). There are areas I haven't mastered yet like the underside of the jaw bone and around the Adam's Apple but I very carefully go over these areas with my double edge single blade safety razor obviously not wanting to nick myself. Cleaning pod is good but it's pretty quick flipping the top and running under the tap too. Well worth a try and for me, I can still get my wet shave ritual with the sink of water and post shave alum block etc.

After using a Panasonic for a number of years I decided to switch back to a Phillips shaver and so far I'm not disappointed. It's quieter and smoother over the skin and much easier to clean with the flip opening blade system. It came with cleaning solution and stand but not sure of the benefits of that. Maybe a charging stand would have been more useful for me. It also lasts much longer on a charge than my old screen Panasonic shaver.

Best shave ever. Only issue I have is the instructions are not very clear in how the small display works and how to start the cleaning process. I assume that using diagrams only in the instructions is to save money when selling to many countries. But this does not help me as i need to wear glasses to see what the display is indicating. These issues my only apply to me but better clarity in the instructions would help.
Great smooth shave the best I have had!
