Martha Stewart Gatwick Enamel Cast Dutch Oven

I have had MS Enamel Cast for the past 10 years. My 2 others wore out and I thought I would get this new one. It is big. 7QT vs 6QT I have used it once, and it stained. I boiled artichokes in it an dit is pale green. This didn't happen in my previous 2 until my hubs made a pot of dark beans. I couldn't get the color out and on this brand new one it will be forever light green. Am I wrong? I don't know what would happen if I put a a pot roast in the over with it. It is heavy and feels durable. Just the quick stain.

Paint Chipped Immediately

There’s a lot to love about this pot…the color, the size, ease of use. However, the paint began chipping immediately after I received it and there are more chips every time I pull it out to use it. I don’t mind “chippy” things, I just wish I’d owned it a little longer before it started chipping. I also wish that there weren’t so many new chips every time I use it.

Flakey product

I bought this dutch oven in late 2023 and have only cooked with it on the stovetop, and it has basically been fine. Basically. Over this past weekend I put the Martha Stewart dutch oven (7-qt) in the oven for the first time and preheated it and the oven to 450° to bake some bread and… disaster. I pulled the product out to find that about a quarter of the bottom's enamel had chipped/peeled off. Horrible. Way past the warranty so now I have a very heavy piece of trash. I guess next time I will oven-ize the next non-MS dutch oven to make sure it will hold up under basic cooking methods.

Heavy!!

I love the size and color of this Dutch oven, but it's SO HEAVY!! It makes usage and clean-up miserable. It wasn't until I had unpacked, washes, and added my soup ingredients that I realized that it is made of cast iron. Disappointed : (
