Q: Is this lid on this supposed to close on its own or no? I have to push it down every time.
A: Ours is the same way. I don't think it's supposed to close on its own.

submitted bymellmell - 9 years agoA: I have to push mine down sometimes. Major con for this bin is that you have to push the dirty diaper down into the bag rather than just dropping it in. It's a little gross.

Q: Searching for adult diaper pail. Will this hold adult depend size diapers.
A: Yes, I think this will be fine. I use it for my elderly dogs diapers. Good luck!

submitted byMunchkin - 8 years agoBrand expertA: The unit is plastic and there is a slight ratcheting sound primarily from the lid when depressing the pedal to open the lid. Once the lid is open; you have to push it closed with your hand. I have opened it with my baby sleeping in the same room and it quiet enough it does not wake her.

Q: hello, I've never used one of these before, much less even looked at one. i haven't had the baby yet, but i did get this as a gift. i just wanted to know, when it gets full, how do you take it out?
A: There is a spot on the inside of the pail where you cut the bag. You then tie the bottom of the bag and fill it up again and again.
submitted byQsmomma - 8 years agoA: I suppose you want to know how to dispose of the bag lined inside the pail? This is literally a trash can made especially for dirty diapers so you will simply need to remove the full bag and toss that away. You'll then replace the bag and bam, that's it.

Q: Can the Genie bags be used in this pail?

Q: How many diapers can this hold? I know the only size down only holds 30..
A: This holds about 30-40 size 2 diapers I'd say. I can never smell the diapers. Great product!

Q: What is the model number for this pail? Trying to locate replacement Arm and Hammer pucks has proven to be difficult. I ordered some on another site and they were not the same size.
A: The Arm & Hammer refill puck, is called the The Puck. It is one large, single pack Arm & Hammer freshener and it will work with our Arm & Hammer Step diaper pail, and our Arm & Hammer PAIL.
