Description

In the Drop Trivia party game, players have all the answers—they just need to drop them in order! This fast-action, electronic trivia game plays in as little as 15 minutes. Play head-to-head with 2 players or in teams. In each round, start by dropping a trivia card with 6 answers into the game tower. Then each side takes turns trying to guess the correct order of the answers to score points. For example, rank 6 debut albums from least to most recent. Players place their guesses by dropping pucks into the tower, and they earn points for answers in the right spots. For a game show-like experience, the tower guides players through the game with voice commands and sound effects. After 4 rounds, the team with the most points wins! Looking for fun games for game nights or board games for adults? This game is a crowd-pleasing choice, and it’s a great gift for teens and adults who love trivia board games. Q: What year is this game published? What is the span of dates of the trivia questions?

submitted by MacLavish - 4 months ago
  • A: The questions all require putting a list of related things in order. I played as our family’s annual Christmas Day game with ages ranging from 13-75. There were questions for everyone! One was specific dinosaurs by length, one was date of discovery of ship wrecks, one was publication dates of books (classics), and another was ages of (currently living) politicians. There is always one item that is quite obscure that makes the order tough to get right, but there is 3 chances (between 2 teams) to try. The automation is soo good! It gives directions and keeps track of score so it was easy to press start and go. Our family really gets into games, so it was hard to keep everyone quiet enough when machine was giving directions sometimes. It was great fun- way tougher than I expected (to put simple lists in order!) and great for all ages. Timer goes pretty fast, so it isn’t much of a time commitment. I think we were done (machine tells you!) after 15 minutes.

Fun and Addictive Trivia Game with a Unique Twist!

5 out of 5 stars

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really been enjoying Trivial Pursuit Drop Trivia! It puts a fresh spin on classic trivia by letting you “drop” correct answers into place rather than just selecting them. This adds an extra layer of strategy and makes it more engaging than a standard multiple-choice format. The game has a great mix of questions—some are easy, while others really challenge your knowledge. The design is clean and user-friendly, making it easy to pick up and play. Plus, it’s fun to compete with friends or just test your skills solo. That said, some categories feel a bit repetitive after extended play, and like most trivia games, a few questions eventually start to repeat. It would be great if they added more variety over time. Overall, it’s a fun, well-designed trivia game that keeps you thinking. Definitely worth playing if you love testing your knowledge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The game was very easy to get to grips with, the box is not overly big so easy to store when not playing. It is made well and seems as though it will last for years even with heavy handed hubby and children. Very enjoyable and highly recommended

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Such a brilliant game. My two boys are a bit young to be able to make accurate or reasonable guesses but still love trying. Us adults have really enjoyed it too. It's a great party game.

An excellent alternative to Trivial Pursuit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent alternative to Trivial Pursuit with a twist. Gameplay is quick and easy for everyone to understand. Being able to play solo is also an added bonus. Obvious downfall of these trivia games, you'll need new question cards after a while if you keep playing. One tiny issue is replacing the battery is not as easy due to the pop out stand.

Aggressively loud. It was impossible to think with the loud countdown timer. Great idea, poor execution.

Not your average trivia game. Actually found it to be kinda complicated with lots of steps to take between each round. Not super clear how to play until you start playing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my husband played this game last night. It is nice, but not really our type of game. I was thinking the cards are automatically recognised by the game, but you have to insert the coins . It is nice, but like I said ,not our type of game.

A brand new game, never been played. We tried many times to play this game, replaced it with multiple batteries and it would not work. It would say a few words then stop talking. We were looking forward to playing this new game but have to return it to the store because the most important component, malfunctions and short circuits.

Our family didn’t like this at all - it’s too frantic and you can’t even learn the correct answers at the end without flipping the card back and forth. If you have a photographic memory you might like it. The sounds from the game are also annoying.

Game would be fun if the sound effects weren't so annoying and loud. Couldn't find a way to turn down the volume. Would need a third party to score without the sound.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Me and my family played this game over Christmas, and I must say it's a fun and addictive game. It's quite easy to set up and work out how you play it. I've not seen a game like this before, so I was looking forward to trying it out. You have to put in order the question on the cards, eg..which animal has the most legs. And you use the coloured counters to rank them in order. It's a good memory game and really gets you thinking. You could play this game in teams, together, or you could answer them on your own.
