I really like this string and have used it for a variety of projects (Christmas ornaments, wrapping gifts, gift tags etc). My only issue is that the gold "foil" strands often separate from the string. That might be a problem depending on what you plan to use the string for.

I ignored the bed reviews for this because I’d gotten it before and loved it. Unfortunately, this is now a different brand and is terrible. The foil material completely unravels and falls away when you cut it. Completely pointless. Instead of the nice crafting twine from the other brand I now have expensive kitchen twine. Please fix this Target.

This twine stinks. The gold tinsel comes off of the white twine and makes it really difficult to use.

The gold and white Spritz version of bakers twine was great, and I'm so glad I bought an extra roll when I did. I was delighted to see this silver, but it's essentially a piece of tinsel wound around (not even through) the cotton twine. As soon as you cut it, the silver becomes loose - it came off about half the Christmas ornaments I tried to hang with it. Do not buy!!

They’ve changed the way this is made and is seriously sucks now…. Can’t recommend this at all anymore… it used to be so cute and sturdy! Old twine on the left. New twine on the right.

The gold is very cheap looking and separated immediately when cut. I ended up pulling it all out from the white bc it looked better. Very cheap.

This worked well for my project. I braided the string together with multiple strands to make it thicker/stronger. It comes with so much string that I had a bunch left over.

Absolutely horrible. The gold thread is not actually a part of the twine so when you cut it the gold just unravels. Get the black.

Beautiful twine in package, but the small gold strand unravels easily when cut. I’m using this to make party banners, so either need to use tape of tie a knot at each cut made. It created more work than expected.
