Q: Can you turn the noise off? This would be great for an airplane/car, but not if it always makes noise.

A: There isn’t a silent mode, but you can turn it down quite a bit. There are 3 levels to the volume. You can find the information on how to do that in the instructions.

It is a little difficult to get the 3 different modes to play and it was a little frustrating. It entertained for about 15 minutes and I don’t think it has been used since. I was hoping it would be good for longer travel, but not so much.

The noise stoped on my sons sadly and it won’t turn back on no matter what we have tried everything! Buttons ripping is crazy, I pushed this hard and it hasn’t ripped. Just faulty

Why make a travel toy that does not mute? I recently purchased two of these for an upcoming trip. My kids love the larger version (different brand) and i thought this would be nice break while stuck on a plane. Unfortunately the sound is too loud to play in public. I will be removing the batteries while en route for the sake of our fellow travelers. If it hadn't been so difficult to open I would return both but I had to hack it open with gardening shears so the packaging is totally useless now.

Not sure how to play this with 1.5 buttons. Illustrates it isn't something that will last, is my guess. Thank you to the employee that packed it to show me it's lack of good manufacturing.
