A: Thanks for your question. It all depends on the size of your A/C unit. The inside dimensions of this tote are 24" L x 15" W x 16.1" H.

A: Hi Carrie! The 30 Gal. Storage Tote has interior dimensions at the bottom that measure: 24 1/4" L x 15 1/2" W x 16 1/4" H. All of our products, including the 30 Gal. Storage Tote, are made of food safe grade polypropylene or polyethylene plastic. These materials have been approved by the FDA as food safe. It is the same material used to produce all of our food storage items. To ensure we offer only quality and safe products, no PVCs, Latex, Teflon, Phthalates chemicals, fungicides, Bisphenol A (BPA), or antibacterial chemicals are used in our manufacturing process. Sterilite does not use any harmful materials in the production of our products. This item is not waterproof, air tight or bug proof, but the lid will snap securely to the base to keep contents protected.

Q: There is a 6 inch difference between the interior and exterior measurements of this item. Even accounting for handles or hand holds, I can't see the 6 inches. Are you positive these measurements are correct?

A: Hello Melanie, yes I have confirmed that these measurements are correct. From the outside of the cover to the bottom inside of the base is 3.1" per side, or about 6" total.

A: Thanks for your question. The Sterilite 30 G Storage Tote was designed for general household use are not waterproof and do not contain UV protection. Storing the item outside may cause damage to the unit.
