Q: Can this be used in a sideways outlet?
A: YES, it can due to the fact that the prong section can be turned to accommodate a sideways outlet. have one plugged into an outlet strip I have secured on my wall

Q: How long does the advanced plug in last before you need to replace it? I'm referring to the device itself not the refills.

Q: would I be able to have it around pets such as cats?

Q: can you turn this off and on and only use when wanted, or do you need to use it up at once after turning it on?
A: Thank you for reaching out to us. The Air Wick Scented Oil Plug in can be turn on and off by unplugging and re-plugging back. Device must be stored in a cool place in an UPRIGHT position to avoid leakage. Refill must be removed from warmer, and cap placed on refill prior to storage. We hope that this information helps! Q: Does it work on 220v?

Q: How do I remove the empty refill to put a new one in?
A: Thank you for reaching out. To remove and change the refill of the Air Wick Plug in, switch gadget "off" to remove the device. There is a gap between the bottle and the device on the left-hand side. Using thumb, press down on top of the bottle and push it free. We hope that this information helps!
