Q: is this moisturizer best used for nighttime treatment?

A: I use this every night. It works perfectly as a moisturizer after an active treatment (tretinoin or glycolic) and it’s perfect for my sensitive skin. Non greasy but hydrating, which is nice bc that way you don’t lay in bed with a sticky face. But I also sometimes use it for daytime, under a sunscreen.

A: Sure, this can be used as a hand cream. It’s non greasy and soaks in well. I use it on my neck and chest, along with my face, and then any extra left on my hands get rubbed in.

Im a mua starting out and i bought this moisturizer because of the nice and hygenic packaging and the ordinary always has basic ingredients. I tried this on two different girls and both times it caused the makeup to slide off and seperate and it literally pills off like dead skin. Just no.

This moisturizer worked great for me. I have combo skin, my t-zone gets oily. I think this works better for the colder months (10-40 degrees) now that it is starting to get warmer (40-70 degrees) it does feel a little heavier. It feels oily in the beginning but through out the day my skins seems to absorb the product pretty well thus making the oilness go away.

Ive been a hunt for an affordable face moisturizers and ive tried a couple and i thought i would give this one a try since Im a fan of The Ordinary but dont get this one. It doesnt even moisturises my face, it feels like it just sits on my face and i believe it does. One night i applied it and the next morning when i rinsed my face, I felt it on my hands, which no moisturizer has ever done that before. My face feels dryer when i apply this vs. not putting anything on my face.

My favorite moisterizer is the CeraVe one but i wanted to try a new one! This moisterizer is sooo good and works for me! This product is nice and lightweight which means that you can add as much product that you want! It doesn't break me out and has a lightweight feeling!

I thought it was the intention of keeping my skin moisturized, but it does not feel moisturizing at all. It feels drying. And makes me feel like my face is crying for some water, I bought the big one so I'm gonna use it out, but I have to acompany it with a lot of face oil to get that moisture I'm looking for.

Even if I use a generous amount it absorbs immediately and dries out my skin worse than face wash. Started breaking out in spots I don't even get acne, very sad since I usually like the ordinary.

This is a weird one for me. The product itself is very moist and it lathers too. Ive tried using a small amount and even large amount to see if the portion affects if it mosturizes less or more. But honestly, I didnt notice it do anything. It applies heavy, but dries lightweight—which i like, but my skin is still really dry. If you have dry skin, I wouldnt use it if I were you.
