Works as described actually have WiFi now if your using AT%26T home internet I strongly advise you get these when we switched to AT%26T home the speeds was suppose to be faster but we couldn't connect it would say we was but wouldn't download video's or even social media for that matter had a tech tell us to get these and this brand not a knock off and we wouldn't regret or rent from AT%26T didn't want to rent when could buy so we bought hooked up and now have 5 t.v's and 7 iPhones and 1 game console and we all have WiFi with out buffering and we don't have satellite on our t.v's either we use internet for t.v's so YES !! Highly recommended!!! We have the 2 pack and router set up 4,500sq ft coverage like I stated always connected now!!

Mesh networking spreads the signal so far and yet is full speed throughout. Perfect for a big house, just not a mansion. Providing no Ethernet connections kept the price down incredibly low. I am impressed.

Mesh system works better than extenders for me. Slighty bigger than I thought, had a remedy for that.  Nice you can add a guest network. Wish it had a way to wall mount them, otherwise, I will recommend it.

Mesh wifi

The units a small enough to fit into restricted spaces. The two remote satellite units only need to be plugged into a regular household electrical receptacle and no other wires need to be connected to effectively extend the WIFI signal. Neatgear says that installation is easy but I could not get it working myself and I needed to hire a computer technician to install the WIFI extension unit in my two bedroom home. We now get full speed WIFI throughout my home.

I have bought two sets of these, one for myself and one for a relative. They work well. My only reason for 4 stars is the set up is not very easy.

Gives a strong signal

I really like the appearance of this router and it's satellites. However, it is not compatible with my modem, which I was unaware of when I purchased this. I'm not sure how to verify that as there is limited information, particularly on the packaging. I had to return it.

Check compatibility before you purchase

I had to contact Netgear's service department to get help in setting up one of the satellite units.  It did not connect to the router as it should have and the other one did.  After spending much time on the phone with Netgear's representative, I finally managed to get the satellite unit to function.  They told me that the whole system was manufactured in 2019 and that it was completely out of date and no longer manufactured.  It uses an out-of-date Wi-Fi format called Wi-Fi 5 instead of more current Wi-Fi 6 format, which is faster and can handle more connections.

Out-of-date system with connection problems

Easy set up, the router worked great but one of the satellites would not connect. Returned to Walmart and purchased same product tried again with the same result. One satellite would not connect. No more chances, I'm returning and trying a different product.

I'm an IT professional and I would not recommend these to anyone.  Speeds when connected to the points are terrible even when placed not too far apart, around 65mbps when I have a 300mbps line and when connected to the third point it drops to 25mbps.  The router doesn't allow you to change the 5ghz channels to see if you can get around interference so it's practically useless.  It's stuck on channel 157.  Also the main router never had speeds close to my initial speed of 300mbps , I was getting half.  Returned immediately.

Terrible

I got this unit and couldn't get one satellite to connect so I called orbi and they told me the unit I bought was a 2019 model and couldn't be updated and to return it.
